About the instructor:
Karen Allaire is owner and instructor of Lazy Lizards Yoga. Karen is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. She has trained with Shakta Kaur Khalsa, founder of the Radiant Child Yoga Program, and has completed Level 2 training. She has also completed YogaEd training, a specific yoga training that meets the National Physical Education Standards for schools, additionally she has volunteered for the Wellness Initiative, a non profit program based out of Boulder, CO, that brings yoga into high risk schools. Karen has over 370 hours of training with nationally known teachers and over 400 hours teaching experience. Her passion for yoga for kids developed when her own son started practicing with her at home. She was amazed to see how natural Yoga comes to a child, and how radiant and calm her son was after their practice.
